Talking to a professional can be a useful way to help you to gain a better understanding of your life and where you are. Whether you need support talking about worries or help with understanding patterns of unhelpful behaviours, therapy can help you better understand the root of difficult emotions, thoughts and feelings.
Therapy can provide an opportunity for you to think and talk in confidence about personal or emotional difficulties that are worrying you. It is a time and space for you to open up, examine, reflect and begin to understand the root of your troubles.
Sometimes it feels that no one could possibly understand how we are feeling and what we have been going through.
I work in a person centred and humanistic way, helping clients to navigate their way through overwhelm, emotional issues and challenging situations. I offer a non-judgmental, confidential space for you to explore anything that is distressing you. Whether you are struggling to deal with something difficult from your past or you are overwhelmed by emotions in the present.
I am a verified and registered therapist with the BACP, and I also feature on the BACP, Counselling Directory and Psychology Today.
I also work with family members who have their own anxieties, fear or concerns connected with their relative’s sexuality, challenges or lifestyle. I can help you reach a place of understanding and acceptance, and provide the support required.
